How to register as an alumni, retired staff member, or external community visitor:
To join the library please email infolib@iadt.ie with your details.
When you arrive at the library, let staff at the Information Desk on Level 1 know that you're here as a new member.
How to register as a secondary school Leaving Certificate student:
Once the academic term has ended in IADT in early may, the Library is open to Leaving Certificate students as a study space. To register for this service, please fill in this form (TBC)
Library services available to IADT alumni and retired staff members:
✅ Use of library study spaces.
✅ Browse books, magazines, and print journals.
✅ Wi-Fi access
✅ Use of sockets for your own laptop or tablet.
Some services aren’t available to alumni and retired staff members:
You need an active IADT account and password to access many of our services, such as ebooks and journals. Due to licensing agreements we can only offer these services internally within IADT. We're not permitted to provide access to the general public or external users. That means the following are not available:
❌ Borrowing books.
❌ Printing, photocopying, or scanning.
❌ Using library PCs or borrowing laptops (you can still use your own device).
IADT Alumni Officer
IADT's Alumni Officer is Roisin Coulter. If you need help or support with alumni matters you can contact her via email at roisin.coulter@iadt.ie.
IADT Library is not offering access to external members of the community at this time. However if you have a specific request, you can email us at infolib@iadt.ie with the details.
After the IADT academic term has finished in early May, Leaving Certificate students can use the IADT Library as a silent study space. You must register for access using this form.
✅ Silent study only on Level 2.
✅ Guest Wi-Fi access (you’ll need a phone number to register).
✅ Use of sockets for your own laptop or tablet.

You need an active IADT account and password to access many of our services. That means the following are not available:
❌ Borrowing books.
❌ Printing, photocopying, or scanning.
❌ Using library PCs or borrowing laptops (you can still use your own device).
