IADT Library offers a variety of supports and services for researchers, including Doctoral and Masters by Research students:
- Collections Access: The Library provides access to a wide range of scholarly materials, including eBooks, online journals, and databases, accessible on and off-campus. IADT Library's membership of the IReL Consortium further enhances access to premier academic content. - Information Skills Training: All postgraduate research students receive a library induction. The library also offers training in information skills, including literature searching and referencing. Research supervisors can request library classes for their students by completing this form. If you require support with information seeking for your research, please don't hesitate to approach a member of library staff for assistance.
- Illustro Institutional Repository: IADT's Illustro Institutional Repository collects, preserves, and disseminates the intellectual and creative outputs of the institution including theses conducted by IADT students. IADT encourages postgraduate researchers to deposit their research output (theses, academic articles) in the repository to ensure maximum exposure to their work. - IADT Journal of Research and Creativity: The Library publishes a peer reviewed, open access journal which welcomes student as well as staff submissions. Further information here.
- Library Guides: The Library offers a range of LibGuides on topics of relevance to postgraduate researchers including guides on literature reviews and reference management software. - Study Space: The library provides a range of collaborative and quiet study spaces including a sensory pod, PCs and printing facilities as well as a laptop lending scheme are also available. See online library tours on this page.
