sofas and armchairs on level 1 of the library

Level 1 is a relaxed space where discussion and collaboration is allowed to happen. There are sofas and individual armchairs available to use. Discussion is allowed on Level 1, and we encourage you to make use of the space for group work and collaboration, including using the moveable whiteboards if needed.

There is a presentation area at the back of the soft seating area which sometimes hosts seminars and lunchtime talks. This space can be used by you to collaborate (using the whiteboards) or practice for your own presentations.

The first thing you might see is the library information desk. A member of staff will usually be there to answer any of your questions about the library!
