Library 101: Everything you need to get started with the Library

WiFi service and printing in IADT are not managed by Library staff. It is managed by ICT Services, who can be contacted by emailing support@iadt.ie.

WiFi

Printing from the Library computers

You can print directly to the Library printer from the desktops on level one.

  • When you click print on your document, make sure the Library printer is the one selected, and send it to print.
  • The Library printer is called PaperCut Global on papercutsrv.institute.local
  • Go up the Library printer and tap your card on the card reader beside the screen on the left. 
  • Click "Print Release" on the screen.
  • Tap the documents you want to print, or select all, and click the "Print" button on the bottom right of the screen.

Mobile printing

You can print from any device -  your phone, your own laptop, a Library laptop, Library desktops, other college computers, etc. - by installing an app on their phone or computer.

Retrieving your document

  • Go to any printer on campus and swipe your card on the card reader beside the screen on the right.
  • Click "Print Release" on the screen
  • Tap the documents you want to print and click the "Print" button on the bottom of the screen.
